Hitori Gotou, known as "Bocchi," is a girl with such severe social anxiety that she struggles to even look people in the eye. To try to make friends, she spends years playing guitar alone in her bedroom, becoming a phenomenon online but completely isolated in real life.
Everything changes when she meets Nijika, a wild drummer who immediately drags her into her band to replace the lead guitarist.
Between panicked blackouts, underground gigs, and terrifying outings, Bocchi tries to push herself beyond her limits with her bandmates, transforming her paranoia into pure rock energy.
